Good news is this was a legit lifefactory bottle. Bottle is tough, never melted, and has survived a few bumps & bruises. It saves the planet because it's glass and reusable.
If you are looking for the safest option, this is the safest! The rubber sleeve is just magnificent protection and shock absorbing mechanism. It is a nice size (12 oz) and i loved the outer sleeve.
This bottle is leakproof, easy to clean and fits car cupholders. Can go to the dishwasher with rubber on.
Cons
The silicone sleeve, while it looks protective and is nicely grippy, gives off a very strong rubbery smell. The cap is badly designed. The mouthpiece is a mistake.

The cap with the straw leaks thru when you open it. It almost spits out like there is pressure building up while it's closed. I also hate the spout they have to drink out of. The top often flips up in the car or the seal isn't tight where you screw it... Read More

It's not the "classic cap" shown on the product page, this cap is more cheaply made and broke too easily.
My 5 yr old uses the smaller one daily with the spout top (the straw doesn't work well i ordered it to try for him).
