Pros
It's not usually a problem unless you are on an incline then it's bad. Used it all on the aluminum ramp on the race trailer. Especially good on those old thin stairs.
Cons
Overall very unhappy with the product. I needed something for my aging dog's paws to grip onto, this is not it. Did not stick well.

The only issue i had with installation was when i went to peel off the paper on the back and it came off in two layers
