I suspect it is a metal chip left over from the manufacturing process between the inner and outer flasks

Its not big enough to keep me hydrated all day so i just ordered another one but ive put ice water in this thing and forgot it in my work truck over the weekend before and when i opened it to dump it out there were still some small ice cubes hanging on to life

We ordered the hydro flask lid with the straw just because im a straw person and i wouldnt use it any other way considering the reviews
