Pros
Only downside is no indicator which heat setting you're on. Heat cones from fan at bottom. This replaces a gas decorative fireplace that used a ton of gas and provided very little heat.
We rarely use the fireplace, but the ambience is nice during winter, so we gave this a try. It looks so cozy. It's warm, it's cozy. But the warmth is perfect for my bedroom.
The flames are very realistic. Looks real enough to fool people that don't know what it is. Fits great into the fireplace.
The flame and embers simulator is actually quite nice. I love that it has lighted flames and not just glowing embers on the logs. The glow on the highest setting is perfect.
Remote control makes it handy to adjust the heat control or the brightness of the flame. The remote control and my samsung tv/vizio sound bar are on the same frequency.
Cons
These give off the ambiance of a real fireplace, but they don’t produce any heat whatsoever. This is deceiving as the unit is just convection heat.

I’m thrilled with this purchase for a little over $100.
This is exactly what i was looking for and the price is right.
This was a really good deal at the sale price.
Seems to be good value for the money.
Shipping
I don’t want to have to return since i’d have to carry to get shipped and i am disabled.
It took a while to get because our first one got lost, but lifeplus sent us a new one.
Packaging/appearance
It looks realistic and we're happy we bought it!
It’s the perfect thing to complete our cozy christmas decorations.
All i had to do was take it out of the box, place it in my fireplace and plug it in.
Not real pretty or real looking when looking at it straight on, but behind a fireplace screen, it's perfect!

The remote control and my samsung tv/vizio sound bar are on the same frequency.
Better and cheaper than the duraflame unit that i returned.

I had my old gas fireplace removed and the gas line shut off and sealed

There must be a projector in the back of the logs because the image of the flames shows on the back wall behind the logs

I really want to loved this product but the flame reflection isn’t consistent and isn’t changing much if at all between the settings
