Pros & Cons
Pros
The bottle is back is full working condition. I like the slender size as it fits easily in the side pocket of my pack. It fits perfectly in my backpack.
The key is gentle suction. The straw is a little slow but overall nice!
Cons
They advertise that the filter lasts 5 years. It's a great product but the new mouthpieces are just not durable. The bottle leaks when it is on its side.
Highlights
Quality
Its well built, the filter lasts a long time and it makes tap water taste better.
Works as described and has held up well.
The lifestraw system made this water taste very close to bottled water.
The spout to drink from is full of bubbles when you draw the water up despite the filter being firmly attached.
Price
You also have to suck on the straw really hard for it to work, but it’s a small price to pay for such thorough filtration!

Competitiveness
I bought several options to try including the less expensive phillips bottles but have grown to really love the lifestraw.
I was under the impression that lifestraw was a trusted brand.
I wish in retrospect i had purchased a different brand of filtering water bottle.
