My only three drawbacks are: 1) i can really fit ice cubes in the bottle with the lifestraw, 2) it doesn’t hold a lot of water, especially for a rigorous hike, and 3) it takes some force to actually suck the water up through the straw, which may not seem like a big deal, but when you’re hiking up a mountain, you don’t want to waste your energy on that.  Read Less
