Pros

The filter fit my platypus bag perfectly, allowing me to gravity feed stream water into my nalgene. This filters about a gallon of water but takes a little time to do.

Cons

This eats up precious time if you're trying to set up camp, a stove, gather wood, etc. Oh and apparently if you #lifestraw on instgram they automatically flag your post for trademark infringement. Completely useless while backpacking.
