Pros & Cons
Pros
The lifestraw's simplicity of use is its true brilliance. Company is wholesome and charitable to non-profits which is noble. I'm pretty certain that this is the same filter that lifestraw uses in their collapsible filter system.
This lifestraw is compact, light-weight, and practical. The sleek and compact design ensures it takes up minimal space. The longer size is also less cost/gallon and not that much of a greater weight burden.
In size and ease-of-use, this thing is a champ. For a small emergency kit it's perfect.
Cons
Received this product but no expiration date was listed (possibly etched off) the sawyer mini is comparable in price, but filters down to 0.
Highlights
Quality
Great product, made well, i've had it for years.
These are great anywhere you go specially when you’re hiking and you don’t wanna lug up a bunch of water great product thank you
It reduces weight when hiking, but you have to be close to a water source.
Better to be a little over supplied than under.
Price
These go on sale every now and then for a really great price.
I was truly pleased to catch these for half price.
These work fine, but the three pack, at $59, is $7 more than 3 of the singles, at 52.
Packaging/appearance
Have not used the item because i intend to store it for emergency but it arrived in good condition
