Pros & Cons
Pros
This straw is very lightweight and as such it will be easy to add to my backpacking gear. Less bulky than the original plastic lifestraws much easier to slip into a pack pocket or emergency kit. At least as important as those if the unthinkable happen... Read More
Sturdy metal construction with a slim plastic carry case. Size is long and wide, and should be stored upright in a case. Nice case and instructions on how to use and store it.
It's like sipping a smoothie through a straw. It’s similar in diameter to those straws for b tea and only a bit longer. Bigger than even a large boba straw.
Its primary utility lies in providing a safe drinking option when other sources are unavailable. The included instructions are very good. Keep in mind when deciding whether to buy a straw filter or some other type of filter is how you expect to need t... Read More

These things are really best for shortterm emergencies and not for prolonged need or use

They are not pleasant to drink out of since it requires so much suction force to pull the water through all of the filter that it will practically loosen all of your teeth
