Pros
On the lowest setting, it’s perfect for a 5 yr old. Perfect size for my 4 year old grandson. Bought it for my 2 grandsons age 7 & 9, they love it.
Use a ratchet set, a ratcheting screw driver, and flat-nosed pliers. Line up the pole with the top bolt holes first to secure it.
This is well-made and sturdy. Seems like it will be durable.
Hard to imagine a better hoop for the price. Very happy with purchase. Better than expected!
Cons
This is cheaply made and as others have pointed out, the holes are often not where they need to be for easy assembly. There’a just a small plastic tube around the pole to keep in from popping through.
Don’t buy it. Wasted time and wasted money. Very disappointing. Very disappointed little boys.

We read all of the reviews before we purchase the product and new going in that the multiple parts of the pole needed to be installed in the correct order

The most difficult part of the install was the backboard and the rim because the backboard and the rim both attached to the pole with the same two screws so you have to hold the backboard and the rim lined up perfectly with the holes at the top of the pole and feed the bolt through all of it at the same time
