Pros

It's easy to adjust the height. The height adjuster is just fine.

The overall operation of the hoop is good. The rubber mallet is for when working the back of the backboard. The rim has decent play, the height adjustment is as easy as it could be, and it's not unattractive.

Wefilled thr base with water. Definitely needs base gel as recommended by the amazon assembler. Not to hard to assemble either. Would probably need to be 12 ish to do by yourself.

Product works great, the instructions however *. Pictorial instructions are functional, but need better clarification in a number of the steps. See attached photo.

Overall, i was impressed with the quality of the hardware. Seems to be good quality but not enough to ruin a game. Great quality for the reasonable price.

Cons

These use so-called center-lock nuts, which means the nut's thread has an internal imperfection which keeps it from self-loosening. Horrible instructions. The instructions are a joke as there are no words written to guide you.
