I wish it was a little more convex so that water would run off. This is in 100% sun in chicago on a concrete patio. It looks nice and the top comes down slowly so no smashed hands this summer.

Only concern i have is the hinge setup. The hinges are firm and well made. Seems super sturdy and fits a lot of stuff.

Box is a great solution for storing our patio chair cushions and pillows. The quality is undeniable.

Cons

Pistons are junk. Expect a little confusion that isn't helped by the murky printing in the manual. Please send us part amz because it was packaged with 2 ana.

Easily popped the socket on the knob and then pulled out the brad from the back. They have indents to show you where, but they're not actually pre-drilled. The box is not waterproof the sides and lid are not sealed water will eventually get in.

They give english sizes, with the close metric in parenthesis, but the english sizes given are either too small or too big.

Price

Looks good, seems sturdy, and price is fair.

I was worried it would be cheaply made because the price was unbeatable but it is one of my best storage bins.

Packaging/appearance

This is the perfect size to house all of the cushions.

Had to use a power drill to get the screws into the plastic, holes were not predrilled.

Competitiveness

A lot better than the suncast deck box that i bought this to replace.

After 10 years, it was time to replace our old suncast deck box as it had seen better days.
