Pros

The lid is on hydraulics and so easy for her to open. A power drill is a must and it needs to have an impact driver function b/c there are no pilot holes in the hard plastic that you're drilling into. Sturdy construction, lid stays open until closed.

My nephew is close to 300lbs and i’m just over 200lb. It's beautiful and very sturdy. Made to withstand the elements of the weather.

Deck box is in a covered hanger for my airplane. Great storage box for cushions of patio furniture. Flat cover is and a bit taller than other boxes i was looking at.

It is waterproof. May not be totally weatherproof in exposed driving rain. Aesthetically it looks good.

Cons

Some holes were not predrilled and could not be drilled correctly. To top it off, the ending wording says the box is not waterproof. They have thin sheet metal strips on the plastic ends that bend easily and render them useless.
