It is not the weld that breaks, the weld rips away from the mounting bracket. Not welded properly at all. The hook-ups are made too flimsy and weak.

This hoop it’s plenty of work out and it’s worth the price

Added a glow in the dark net to the hoop ($7) and waited for my 12 yr old niece to get home.

Product came in a timely manner and fit my goal perfect.

Easy to install and arrived much earlier than expected.

The rim came packaged nice with no sign of damage.

Came with all of the screws necessary to reattach it, even though we had saved them from the one we took down.

Competitiveness

You also need at a minimum two 1/2 inch box wrenches to negotiate the angles for the installation.
