Overall it seems like a large investment but i think the quality meets the price point.
There is a nice quality repair kit if it does get a rip or tear.
Packaging/appearance
It is decently heavy with everything loaded up in the pack, but it’s only a little heavier than a fully packed day hike backpack.
It is large enough you don’t feel like you are wrestling it back in the bag.

My husband thought it was a terrible idea because he never thought it would be hard enough to stand on and would always have a lot of give that would make it unstable
