The rubber ends ensure that the dividers have a good grip and prevent sliding.
The problem is made worse by the springy end, which you can see on the right edge of the two dividers in my picture.
All of the dividers that i have used in the past were too short and did not really do anything to keep our blankets organized.
Price
That’s $10 per divider and i haven’t found anything less expensive than that for my closet and i have been looking for over a year now.
Would i pay the full price of $49.
I would say a good value for the money.

The main reason these are so much better is because they have a spring that creates tension against the sides of the drawer and makes them stay upright

Don’t be fooled by those other ones that look heavy and sturdy but do not have the spring tension

In the metal drawers of my bench they do in fact slide around a bit no matter how much tension i put on them

The rubber pads on the ends do really well holding against wood but not metal or melamine

From a design perspective i think the ends are springy to make them fit a wider range of spaces but unfortunately they just add an additional margin of error in my application where they already struggle to stay in place

Because they work great in other applications just not my metal workbench drawers
