The mat stays in place, which is good! I imagine once my pets realize this they'll start to lay on it (hopefully that'll help flatten it) the rubber backing keeps them in place. It's thin but doesn't curl on the edges like some other thin rugs.

I air dry them but have used the dryer periodically and they are none the worse for wear. Keeps the floor dry underneath. Seems to prevent a musty smell when it gets wet.

It’s all hype and not real that it catches all that *. If it ever arrives.
