Pros & Cons
Pros
Heavy, sturdy steel. In my novice opinion this lens is worth twice the price. Not sure how long this lens will last with normal wear and tear.
The lense is pretty fantastic for exactly what it says it does. It clips on snug and was easy to figure out how to focus. Hooks up great to my canon rebel t7. The only issue i have is with the t-mount. Small allen screws for extra security to the lens... Read More
An inexpensive way to get zoom pics. Do use a tripod or monopod when zoomed. Long scope can be compensated for via software meant for it.
Cons
Worthless hunk of metal now in the landfill. After my first light moon shots, it was packaged up for return. Got the refund the next day.
The quality of the pictures this lens produces is below average. Sharpness is lower than you would expect and there is a blue halo around the edges. Image quality is blah, focusing is clunky.
Highlights
Quality
Focus can be hard to get but it’s super great quality for moon shots
This lens is all manual, i used on m setting and remote shoot with my canon app and phone!
The lens seems to not be completely locked into the t-mount, im guessing the threading has worn out with only 3 uses.
Unless you are taking high distance or nature photography, this is a huge overkill
Price
For the price i paid, it a great deal for decent pictures.
They saved money by giving it t-threads and including the appropriate t-adapter for your camera.
For the price though, and what it gives me, i love it.
I did not expect much from this lens as it was inexpensive.
Shipping
It was delivered on november 27th 2023, and finally got it attached to the d850 on the 29th.
Another plus is i receved the lens in perfect condition 2 days early.
Packaging/appearance
Box came damaged, lens cap was on funky and the tripod screw was broken.
Competitiveness
However, if you want to shoot bright targets that aren't moving at greater than 400mm, this is about the least expensive way to do it.

In my experience optical or through the viewfinder focusing works best but even on a tall tripod its in an awkward position when viewing the sun mid day

Full manual mode so if your not good in manual mode this might help you even though you have no aperture just setting the shutter and iso setting
