I connected it to an outdoor wifi timer and it's not had any issues with the weather (not that there's much rain where i live).

People talk about the longevity and i can't vouch for this, but for the price i am not really concerned.

There was not allot of headspace to add lighting and can lights are out of the question

Just make sure your leds are dc and not ac or this type of led driver will not work for your application
