As an audiophile, this seems tolerably fine. It's a nicer bmw sound system, and its probably the best sound i've heard out of it. Plugs in super easy, and haven't had an issue with any static noise or anything.
Sleek gunmetal grey/black looks nice. Nice and flexible, but solidly built. Survived washer just fine.
This cable advertises its build quality first and foremost. The braided cord is sturdy and has the perfect length.
Cons
Audio keeps cutting out. Creates a loud ringing sound. Also a lot of static.
You're better off getting headphones that have a lightning cable charger at the end instead of a headphone jack. Cannot recommend this adapter.

This adapter fits the bill at an affordable price.
So if there's one piece of advice i can give when buying these things, yeah: spend the money.
We'll see how it holds up over time, but so far so good for price paid!
$15 is a lot for a tiny piece of plastic and cord, but worth it to know that they actually work like they're supposed to.

Ive made the mistake more than once of buying cheaper around 5 iphone adapters like this only to have the apple devices not recognize them rendering them worthless and then returning them

I was having issues with connecting my macbook pro to the gym speakers for two fridays to the point i had to use the portable speaker in order for me to teach my class
