I deducted one star because of misinformation about a minimum inside fit

However the plastic brackets have holes that expect the frame to have more depth i would say perfect depth for this product is probably 2 inches

On our 1 inch depth the existing bracket holes do not accommodate drilling into the frame the holes are too close to the edge of the frame

The mounting hardware that is included is functional but not of the same quality as the frames themselves also they are white and dont look too good with a chocolate colored shade

What i did was measure the width of the window box and subtract 12 giving the blind room to move up and down
