Pros
Great little gifts to go with the relevant games. Only downside is the limited functionality of the amiibo. I expect nintendo to make them usable in the future for the upcoming switch's metroid game.
Works very well with amiibo, gave me the beautiful epona, and so far one piece of armour. All the details in samus' armour are flawless! The glittery, metallic finish is easily noticeable on samus's zero suit.
Feels sturdy, and has nice detail to it although it is smaller than expected. Looks so good and looks great on my shelf. I love it and it fits into the amiibo family well.
Princess peach is my favourite mario character. Mewtwo is his favourite pokemon and this figure did not disappoint. Has some minor imperfections, which is a shame for my favourite character, but looks cool next to daisy.
Cons
It's exploitative, opportunistic and completely unacceptable. Utter rubbish. Over inflated price.

Competitiveness
Will consider buying more zelda amiibo in future for display as well as amiibo usage.
My grandson wanted this for his birthday…he got it.
Nintendo removed them in the newer amiibo reruns.
