Quality

I like the wire these come with, very flexible and the material feels nice, hooks around my ears nicely and doesn't cause discomfort.

They sound great, have good imaging, and are really tuned well.

Each sound seems separated, synth coming from the left, piano coming from the right, adlibs going from right to left like 8d audio.

Last month the right ear piece started losing volume.

Price

The value here is really quite impressive.

The kiwi ears cadenza are a terrific entrant in the under $50 bracket.

Tons of great reviews on the internet for these, and at $28 when i bought them i figured i'd give it a try.

I came from some cheap $70 ones that broke on me.

Packaging/appearance

Packs a nice, clear, and dynamic sound.

It looked like someone had opened the box as well as it didn't have any type of seal.

If they were packaged in a fancy box and had a boutique name (looking at you nightjar) i'd believe these cost hundreds more.

Also it isn't denoted on the packaging but the right iem should go on the set of pins with the red ring.

Competitiveness

They sound significantly better than my shure se215s, which cost over 3x as much.

Comparing to other single dd sets i've owned and like (namely the sennheiser ie600) these kiwi's hold their own.

If you choose the right tips this is better than any noise cancelation you've tried.

I'm not comparing the two, but this isn't my 1st foray into iems.

Crystal clear sound tuned just about perfectly to the harman curve but the construction feels cheap and the connector ports aren’t recessed into the iem chassis to help securely retain them

Ive owned sennheisers ie8is and ie80s before both of which at similar price points

I was planning to go to their ie200s but it seems they kinda missed the mark for the current generation so i figured why not try something new

But one thing id like prospect buyers to know is

Not necessarily a downside but the knotted cable and translucent design means that these are quite showy which i guess is the intention and i wont be wearing these in more professional settings

I listen to a lot of british podcasts

As an american i sometimes have difficulty understanding what is being said so i need earphones that deliver clarity
