Pros & Cons
Pros
Bass is strong and driving without being overwhelming or muddying the midrange. Only complaint is that they can be a bit shouty (somewhat elevated upper midrange) with some content. S&s open up the soundstage even wider, as well as improve bass ov... Read More
Morcheeba is the best earphone i've ever used. Noise cancelation is excellent.
These shine a lot more on a proper dac/amp using these straight through my laptop 3. They sound significantly better than my shure se215s, which cost over 3x as much. While the sound quality is almost similiar, these are a bit more comfortable for a 3... Read More
Treble comes out when needed and doesn't overstay it's welcome bascially. I like it but can see how it might get fatiguing.
Highlights
Quality
I like the wire these come with, very flexible and the material feels nice, hooks around my ears nicely and doesn't cause discomfort.
They sound great, have good imaging, and are really tuned well.
Each sound seems separated, synth coming from the left, piano coming from the right, adlibs going from right to left like 8d audio.
The two prong connection is also difficult to push into the holes on the buds and the cable is so short that it only works if y... Read More
Price
The value here is really quite impressive.
The kiwi ears cadenza are a terrific entrant in the under $50 bracket.
I came from some cheap $70 ones that broke on me.
Sound:these blow my airpod pros out of the water, and for only $30.
Packaging/appearance
It looked like someone had opened the box as well as it didn't have any type of seal.
If they were packaged in a fancy box and had a boutique name (looking at you nightjar) i'd believe these cost hundreds more.
Also it isn't denoted on the packaging but the right iem should go on the set of pins with the red ring.
Beautifully packaged, but that’s beside the point.
Competitiveness
Compared to other iems i've tried at this price point, they are among the best, if not the best to my ears.
They sound significantly better than my shure se215s, which cost over 3x as much.
If you choose the right tips this is better than any noise cancelation you've tried.
I'm not comparing the two, but this isn't my 1st foray into iems.
