Pros & Cons
Pros
Iems are different from earphones or headphones. The cord is very flexible and the material feels nice, hooks around my ears nicely and doesn't cause discomfort. Apple airpods (earbuds) and sennheiser hd 599 (over-ear headphones) have many features a ... Read More
While the sound quality is almost similiar (the pros are louder and not in a good way i don't think) these are a bit more comfortable for a 30 dollar difference. Everything is well detailed and tastefully tuned.
Treble comes out when needed and doesn't overstay it's welcome bascially. It has a tiny bit of extra treble presence but nothing that is fatiguing. Nice and realistic sounding treble for cymbals and all that.
The only thing i have to compare to it is the 1more quads. I have an arctic headset and it was worth close to 200 dollars. Apex is crazy with these you literally have wall hacks.
Bass is strong and driving without being overwhelming or muddying the midrange.
Highlights
Quality
I like the wire these come with, very flexible and the material feels nice, hooks around my ears nicely and doesn't cause discomfort.
They sound great, have good imaging, and are really tuned well.
Each sound seems separated, synth coming from the left, piano coming from the right, adlibs going from right to left like 8d audio.
These ear buds stay and they don't move or start popping out.
Price
The value here is really quite impressive.
The kiwi ears cadenza are a terrific entrant in the under $50 bracket.
I came from some cheap $70 ones that broke on me.
Sound:these blow my airpod pros out of the water, and for only $30.
Packaging/appearance
Packs a nice, clear, and dynamic sound.
It looked like someone had opened the box as well as it didn't have any type of seal.
If they were packaged in a fancy box and had a boutique name (looking at you nightjar) i'd believe these cost hundreds more.
Also it isn't denoted on the packaging but the right iem should go on the set of pins with the red ring.
Competitiveness
They sound significantly better than my shure se215s, which cost over 3x as much.
Comparing to other single dd sets i've owned and like (namely the sennheiser ie600) these kiwi's hold their own.
If you choose the right tips this is better than any noise cancelation you've tried.
I'm not comparing the two, but this isn't my 1st foray into iems.

These inear monitors are not the be all end all and if you have a high fidelity sound system at home these won’t even come close to comparing but for the price the quality of sound is hard to beat
