Sound Quality
Customers have generally positive opinions about the sound quality of these in-ear monitors. They describe the sound as clear, fast, deep, and dynamic, with good passive noise cancellation and excellent build quality. Some customers mention that they are easily driven by a phone or portable music player without the need for an amplifier. However, a few customers have noted that the highs can be harsh at times but overall find the sound to be worth the price.
Ear Tip Selection
Customers have positive opinions about the earphones' sound quality but have mixed feelings towards the included ear tips. Some found the stock tips not fitting well and preferred using their own favorite ones. The comfort level of the earphones varies, with some customers finding them comfortable for long sessions while others preferring over-ear headphones. Overall, customers recommend trying different ear tips to find the best fit for individual preferences.
Highlights
Quality
Simgot ew200 earphones are high-sensitivity, low-impedance earphones with excellent sound quality.
These are warm, detailed iems with a lot of energy.
Sound is too harsh on the treble side and not detailed enough on the bass/sub-bass side.
Vocals stood out while the instrumentals didn’t feel drowned out.
Price
Best $70 i’ve spent in a while.
And these are much less than $100 -- an outstanding bargain.
I can not believe these are only 20 dollars.
I'm just realizing that they were actually $35.
Packaging/appearance
The packaging was ultra premium too and includes a solid carrying case and extra nozzles for adjusting the sound.
I love loud :) with cheap headphones, they tend to pack in a ton of bass and it drowns everything else out.
Competitiveness
All in all, these are much better than what i expected and i thing better than 90 pct of the sub 50 iem's being offered today.
They've got a nice open and airy sound that competes well with other choices in this price range.
I would take these over the kato or the ie200.
Instead of spending the $500 to replace them, i did some research and decided on trying the ea500lm out.
