Pros

Great for displaying your train. Have an x-mas train set. This is exactly what my husband needed to sit up his railroad layout.

These are solid 30 inch rails for only $1. These parts are available individually on amazon for less than this kit costs. Love the snap track.

Cons

We set up the train around the christmas tree and it would not make it around the oval layout without stopping. This requires a track rebuild wherever stall occurs, then trains work again only to stall later on another piece of track.

Took apart & built smaller 4'x6' oval. Going back to dependable o or o27 guage for this oval layout. Quality is horrendous.

Outside and inside connector pins appear to crystallize and shear with multiple assemblies. This is a real temporary way because the wires will disconnect very easily. Two pieces have the wrong size connector.
