Really good quality, the smoke coming out of it is just amazing and runs really fast and never derailed.
The set comes with the new fast track which is easy to set up and take down.
The level of detail is extraordinary and the quality is that which only lionel can deliver.
The quality is definitely there and the details are satisfactory.

Packaging (5/5) - it's nice to see them reduce the packaging size which makes it easier to store.
It comes with enough cars to make it look like the one from the films/books.

For what it is worth i have never attempted to use the smoke feature as it doesnt interest me

It seemed that every time it would go around a corner the engine would come off the tracks

This caused the front of the engine to set just a tad lower on the track and allowed the back wheels to make good contact
