Sturdy and works exactly as expected. The small lip keeps stuff from spinning off in case you've had too much caffeine and are overly zealous in your spinning. I love bamboo & these little turntables are smooth and beautiful.

Still, very pleased. Happy with this purchase. They look beautiful 3 in row.

Cons

The turntable does not spin smoothly. Instead of turning, the screw holding the turning mechanism just comes unscrewed.
