You should definitely use plenty of wood glue in the peg holes on the chairs this is not included in the directions but it should have been

Put a big healthy blob of wood glue in each hole on one leg and stick all the pegs in

The directions were fool proof and all predrilled holes were accurately done this is huge with assembly required items
