It turns easily and smoothly. Will check if the holding screw can be modified to go in deeper to narrow the gap.

Cons

The mechanics that make this a lazy susan is a most pathetic arrangement making the circular movement weak and rough. The wood is split, cracked almost half way across the entire surface. No quality control at all.
