Pros & Cons
Pros
One of the distinguishing features of this supplement is its convenient liquid form. It makes it a lot easier to give kids their daily dose in a favorite beverage or juice. The liquid form means no more struggling with capsules or chewables.
This omega 3 supplement is a nice option for kids. It uses algae and flaxseed oil to provide those essential omega 3s. Algae are less likely to be contaminated by mercury/toxins because they don't accumulate as efficiently.
The flavor of flax seed oil is not overpowering. The dropper dispenses the perfect amount each time. Instructions for two droppers as the proper dosage are a bit weird.
This smells and tastes so yummy. I keep these in a plastic bag in my fridge and that keeps the smell at bay. Beyond the smell the product is solid. The taste of these are not bad.
The included measurement marks make dosing simple. This provides a 75-day supply with the recommended dosage of 2. Take 2. The bottle additionally contains 25 servings.
Cons
Price wise at $10 each bottle, not like it's some bargain either. If added to food, the taste still comes through and doesn’t really blend well with other foods. No need for all those ingredients.
Highlights
Quality
This product does seem like a quality vegan omega-3 supplement.
This is such a quality product; it pulls out all the stops.
Keep in mind that if you are following that dosage for one person, this bottle would last only 25 days.
With not refrigerated flax oil as the main ingredient i question how well the omega-3’s hold up.
Price
While it’s a bit pricey, the noticeable improvements in cognitive function and overall health make it worth every penny.
The price seems a little high at $24.
Value wise, the current list price of $29.
Packaging/appearance
It came well-packaged, intact, and with professional packaging and labeling.
Easy to take as a sublingual drop, its packaged in a good sized 25 ml bottle with included dropper on screw on cap.
The packaging and liquid drop type is similar.
Technically, according to the packaging, the serving size is two and a half droppers, but this seems a little wasteful to me.
Competitiveness
I have tried a more popular brand of dha for my daughter and they disliked the fishy taste but they love this one!
It tastes better than other omega-3 supplements for kids i have ordered.
It's much better than the previous brand i purchased.
Overall, i like this liquid omega 3 epa dha supplement because it’s so much better than capsules.
