The base is metal with 4 corner grippers made of something like rubber or silicone to keep it stable. The little foot-holder parts also have grippers. The construction consists of a metal base and a plastic arm and pad for the phone.
The stand has an adjustable viewing angle and can rotate 360 degrees. Answering calls is easier when i just need to swipe and not have grab and swipe is convenient.

It does have rubber feet that stops the base from moving around when you interact with your phone but theres no rubber on the pad your phone sits in thats just plastic
