I know there are some other brands of vehicle chargers that can’t boost the voltage and will only output 20v if used in a 24v vehicle, though the documentation with this charger does not mention that, and it might just be that the specific 20v profiles that are supported by the charger aren't supported by my laptops (a lenovo x1 yoga and a macbook air).  Read Less
