The magnet is very strong, and it also rotates 360 degrees in different angles. Holds my phone securely, too. The magnetic suction on this car mount is great and it's very non obstructive.
Lisen magnetic dashboard iphone holder is such a great accessory. Unique design of the base allows you to adjust to virtually any shape of dashboard. It holds the phone very well even with the rough ride of a plow truck.
This mount works with the magsafe phone cases, and it includes a stick-on magnet for your phone or phone case if you don't have a magsafe case. I do like that they included a metallic ring for non-iphone users like myself.
It's great for a minimalist. It's not too big and distracting. Some might not prefer to have it as noticeable.
This is really nicely built and works great. This is the one that answered all of my needs finally! This product is everything i will be ordering more.
Cons
I have an iphone 12 pro max and this item does not hold the phone at all! Every bump i hit in the road causes my phone to fall to the floor. Fell off in an hour.

However the dial that locks the ball joint is not particularly grippy so its not too difficult to inadvertently twist the magnet away from the angle that you set

I would say that this is a general failing of all such mounts so i wouldnt knock this one too much for it

On my old vw the vents are very highly angled and even in normal use you have to point the vanes almost all the way down

Additionally the vanes are not aligned if you look from the side they are somewhat rounded

This lisen one managed to fit a downward corner of the dashboard which is the only place i can think of to attach a car mount to and no existing function is blocked or compromised
