This product has a great magnet, holds my phone in place, even going over speed bumps.
It has a very secure attachment to the vent and the magnet is excellent.
I can’t connect to my carplay while charging because the charger uses the usb plugin 🤷🏼♀️
I wouldn’t throw my phone at it and expect it to just slap on (a lighter phone might), but it does hold my phone, even on bumpy dirt roads.

I received mine but it turned out to be defective contacted thire customer serviceand they sent me replacement by next day solid product best customer service deserves all the stars

I do food deliveries on the side and needed something that could hold my phone but make use of my magsafe case and charge it too

Admittedly most don’t work very well or like my last one cover the air vent
