This works very well in my '16 yukon. She has a nice piece of flat dash to the left of the steering when that doe snot have any gages showing. Its compact size and adjustable mount make it versatile.
Cons
This base is pretty heavy and the adhesive doesn't stick right away. The only way it can be installed is with the base horizontal. It also needs to stick to totally smooth plastic which much of our dash isn't.

I thought it was the mount, but it was actually my car connector that wasn't working.
I guess i will never be happy that you either need to stick these types of holders to your dash or attach them to an air vent.
Price
Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

The actual chargermagsafe part is heavy and seems to be very sturdy so even a heavy phone like the pro max doesnt make it dip or move the hinges

I was worried when i first received it because the instructions indicate that it should be mounted on a smooth flat surface and the dashboard of my car is neither smooth or flat

But i took my time with the adhesive portion and repeatedly made sure that it was adhering to the dash while the curing took place over the course of a few hours and its held well for a number of weeks now
