Pros & Cons
Pros
When in use, it provides enough flexibility in positioning the device to satisfy the viewer. The only issue is the ipad case is too thick for this bracket. However, that's not an issue with the bracket, it's the kiddie case i have on the ipad.
The arms which attach to the headrest are also extendable by about an inch to provide even more flexibility. The problem with the other backseat phone holders is that they were not collapsible. I have an acura mdx and the head rest poles are close tog... Read More
The design is very robust. It feels like it will outlive my car. Sturdy, keeps phone/tablet firm with little wobble or vibration.
All in all its awesome. Ended up getting 2 with zero regrets.
Simple to operate, even for a child. Kids love that it moves fwd and back as needed. Keeps the kids entertained.
Cons
It fits old generation of car models with very thin bar not more than 4 to 5 millimeters. The clip that pops around the headrest is not the right plastic. However, the tilt angle is not big enough to make the phone or ipad facing upward.
Highlights
Quality
My wife and i love this product.
Holds my kids fire 10 tablet with the thick protective case on it.
I have not officially driven with the tablet in it to speak on steadiness.
Competitiveness
I got this for my daughter to use for her ipad during softball tournaments when she relaxes in the car.
Both of my devices have thick protective cases (because it's kids), and it held them like a champ.
