The usb heads are made of plastic, and there is no reinforcing at the joints.
I picked up these cables for all these devices you get these days with really short, cheap plastic usb-a to c charging cables.

These come nicely packaged each in its own slot in a plastic pouch.
This set of cables is presented as premium, retail packed nicely and even protective film on the connectors so they are not scratched.
Out of the packet i thought the finish on the ends was a bit rough.
I chose this item as the pack comes with 3 cables, with 2 x 2m cables and 1 x 1m cable.

No difference compared to the original cable for functionality and charging speed.
As one of these cables is longer than the uk's 2024 rainy season (well, 2 metres) i've decided to use that for data.
