Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

It's the same great quality i've become accustomed to in lisle axle nut sockets. That's the reason i went online and purchases this one. Great price. No slippage and great quality.

Heavy duty socket for repeated hard use in a repair shop enviroment. Label and stamping on socket state made in taiwan. Thicker walled but also heavy duty for impact wrenches.

Cons

That socket fit much more snug.

Quality

The product i needed for a low price and for the project i was doing was used to complete my set

Price

Another plus is that its price is way less than the other brands.

Price is fair, solid tool, and amazon's fast service.

Competitiveness

You also need to pry up the staked part of the nut or cut it away with a dremel tool to avoid wrecking the threads on the axle

Note that the nut is staked to a groove in the axle and must be straightened out with a punch or screw driver before it can be removed

I love snapon but their brand is failing me by not servicing my independent shop in atlanta georgia

I did try one from autozone with less contact points and it kept spinning

I know i could have used a chisel tool with a torch on the nut to get it off but why go through all that headache

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

This socket worked great for removing the spindle nut but the new nut that i mistakenly purchased was only a 6point one and takes a 32mm socket to install
