Pros & Cons
Pros
Tool helps separate the parking brake cable from the rear drum backing plate. Necessary to completely remove ebrake cable from bracket at retracting spring end. Perfect for rusted slides and adjustment screws.
The 90 degree bend works perfectly. The thin metal allows a lot of flex. It feels a bit flimsy, but it didn't bend when in use.
Cons
The jaws are a little too flimsy when you're putting pressure to release cables. The handles are too short, so unless you're removing a cable from a brand new vehicle with zero rust and corrosion, they won't work.
This falsely advertised \pictured chinese substitute is heading back to the seller. No markings on package. Picture is misleading, the one pictured is dark, thicker sides, and made in usa.
