Pros & Cons
Pros
This set of pliers deserves a hardwood case and a permanent spot in the tool chest. Brought many snap ring tools over the years.
The tip also has a waffle pattern on the tips which allows the rings to grip into. Comes with a large assortment of tips which would make it useful for nearly any clip up to 2 1/2 inch across.
Cons
The jaws tips are uneven in every direction and the grip on the tips was very crude and already mostly mashed right out of the package. The spread is too small to allow you to remove the clip properly. When any kind of pressure is applied, the handle ... Read More
The item is simple and cheap. Py more and get prof tools or buy the same quality for less at walmart. Mediocre quality from an expensively reputable tool maker.

Very happy with the sturdiness of the tool.
Bought when i tired of poor quality of local offerings.
I'm sure there are better quality ones out there, but these are working ok for me.
Good product, just didn’t have enough opening for my application
Price
Granted the price is right and i would of been happy if it was not mark as prime just the same.

Like when a little hollow metal cylinder with threading on both sides gets tightly screwed into the ltinsidegt of an expensive brass plumbing fixture through a bizarre sequence of unfortunate events and there is no way to grip its own inside to unscrew it

Also handy when incandescent glass bulbs break off leaving their metal base in the fixture socket with nasty shards poking out

I expected them to be built a little more sturdy for being a lisle product

I usually associate lisle with more commercial use and these seem a little more diy type but i guess the price should have been a clue that these were lighter duty

The knurling on the tips seemed ok but it took a while to really get a good grip on the ring in an oily trans case
