This is one of those specialty tools that you think you can do without. After done with that job, went to amazon and order this tool. Highly recommend to add some penetrating oil before starting.

The jaws are a little too flimsy when you're putting pressure to release cables. The handles are too short, so unless you're removing a cable from a brand new vehicle with zero rust and corrosion, they won't work and you'll have to borrow one of those... Read More
