Pros & Cons
Pros
Helps remove ignition wires without breaking them. Just hook the base of the plug boot and pull. You reach into the spark plug well, reach under the sparkplug wire's socket and pull on the tool.
Cons
Would be useful for recessed plugs with straight access. Kind of disappointing.
The tool parted on the first wire. Screw gm for lousy engineering. Broke, won't keep grip on boot.
Highlights
Quality
The fit and finish isn't perfect but it doesn't interfere with the usability of the tool.
I bought this to do spark plugs on forklifts with the 4.
Finishing touch/grinding are low quality, just like any other low quality chinese tool.
It's sold under lisle brand but there's lisle name anywhere on the product.
Price
For the price you cannot go wrong.
Very happy for the price i paid.
Packaging/appearance
My only problem is the rubber coating on the handle kept slipping off.
Competitiveness
Did tune up today and pliers worked like a champ.
Used on a 17 silverado, workrd great
