Thats what they tell you to do in the instructions but it bends up the tracks or the lights wont come on

Had friend who was electrician install them trust me in a garage if you want to meet code hire an electrician that knows what he is doing and the code

The dim bulbs at the manufactures say that you cannot use this fixture with a dimmer

But thats nonsense as the dim bulbs are referring to their bulbs you can purchase with the track light

I bought 4 of these large units instead of going with recessed lighting
