Pros

Lithonia lights work really well and dim to nothing without me hearing a hum or experiencing flicker. These definitely need to be hooked up to a dimmer because of how bright they are at full power. Nice to be able to select color temp.

Installed many recessed lights over the years for family and myself. These are extremely easy to install, and it's really nice that you can easily adjust the color temperature. Easy to install for replacement.

The product looks fine in the sheetrock ceiling. They go right over the joist if needed. Everything seems very well made. The electrical box is well made and connector are solid!

Originally purchased at menards, but they were sold out. I always buy a spare or two in case they don't last the tens of thousands of hours advertised and one needs to be changed out.

Cons

These lights are not on a dimmer and are connected to reliable suburban power. The dimmer only makes it harder to see doing task downward or straight ahead. These lights maybe put out 300-400 lumens.

My only difficulty when installing these was punching out the punchout.

I have them set up with a tp-link smart dimmer and they work great.

I got 10 of the basic 3000k 6” lights 5 years ago.

I got the 2700, 3000, 3500 version.

I have a 50% failure rate after less than 4 years.
