Pros

Installed many recessed lights over the years for family and myself. The bathroom now has sufficient light to apply makeup. Installed on 8' x 8' covered porch.

Originally purchased at menards, but they were sold out. They look great and give great lighting. They also fit nicely in 1/2 inch wallboard.

Cons

These lights are not on a dimmer and are connected to reliable suburban power. With these fixtures (well under the wattage limit - 3 in one room, 4 in the other) the lights flicker like crazy. The beam pattern is also too wide especially for tall ceil... Read More

It is secured to the box too well and i dented both boxes pretty good trying to punch them out.

I really like the option to purchase one at a time as i’ve seen most recessed lights come in packs.
