It is not just a trickle charger or a battery maintainer but a full charger. This allows recharging a larger power bank without resorting to a more complex solar system. The charger comes with a 2 year warranty.
This is a great unit for a boat or camper. It has impressive specs for water ingress protection. Although i don't need the ipv67 rating as i'm using it indoors, it's nice to have.
Green - all is good, red – battery charging, red flash – charger problem. Its pretty much plug and play with a simple light indication.

Got this to charge a lifepo motorcycle battery when i discovered my usual battery tender wouldnt work with it correctly requires higher than normal voltage input to charge

Basically hooked it up to a timer that would run it a few hours at a time every so often to top off the battery
