Maurice sendak's stories are timeless. The illustrations are very endearing.
Great set of books for beginner readers. Little bear is the most lovable book that you can find anywhere. She is encouraged by actually being able to read the first book and anxious to keep going.
Sometimes this is a bit daunting for my 5-year-old, but he is a trooper and reads on through to the end of the chapter. Friend’s granddaughter sounding out words learning to read.
Cons
Pages 33-64 were not cut and there is no way to cut them on your own without ripping the pages. This book is completely unusable.
