Pros

The 1/3hp pump works automatically when ever rainwater collects on the cover. It pumps the water quickly and efficiently. I use a fairly short hose and it will pump faster.

Would recommend for an inground pool cover definately. It is sturdy and robust. Can attach any garden house easily.

It's the first pump i have, just installed today. Worked perfectly right out of the box. It's been working wonderfully.

Cons

The threads on housing end have imperfections seen with a flash light. The shaft on the float switch is broken. It the floater properly engages the pump but it just vibrates without moving any water.

The manual says that in fine print, and it’s a shame the company that makes this does not tell you that before purchase. Gave this brand a few tries, but finally done with it. Got a replacement, failed in 4.

The pump is 100% trash. Garbage like everything else these day. It's past the amazon return window.
